Join EDC and Citizens Planning Association on Tuesday, August 3 for an informational forum to discuss what is really going on in the Gulf, the risks offshore oil poses to Santa Barbara and what we can do to protect our coastline. We will have an excellent panel of speakers including Congresswoman Lois Capps, Dr. Ira Leifer, Doug Anthony and EDC's Linda Krop.

	Ride on the Wild Side October 16, 2010 Join EDC for our first-annual Ride on the Wild Side Bike Event on October 16, 2010.  Ride at your own pace or along with a knowledgeable guide and visit some of the local landscapes that EDC has fought to preserve and protect.  With three lengths of rides to choose from, this event is suitable for families, casual riders, and serious cyclists.  The ride will be followed by a celebration in the EDC courtyard with food, beverages, a raffle, and live music.  Registration will take place through Active.com.
